How long does my hair need to be?
About a quarter inch — roughly two weeks of growth, or the length of a grain of rice. Shorter and the paste cannot grip; much longer and we will trim before we begin.
How is sugaring different from waxing?
Sugaring uses a room-temperature paste of sugar, water, and lemon, flicked off in the direction of growth rather than against it. It grips hair more than skin, which many people find gentler than wax.
I have sensitive skin — is this for me?
Yes. The paste is natural and applied at body temperature, so it is a calm choice for reactive skin. Tell us about any allergies or recent treatments when you book.
