Show up. Lift heavy. Come back tomorrow.
IRONHALL
A barbell gym for people who came to work. Calibrated bars, real platforms, chalk you can taste, and coaches who count your reps. No machines you wait twenty minutes for. No fitness theater.
First session free
The barbell does not care how you feel. Load it, lift it, and become someone who did.

Kind words
Straight from the floor
I walked in deconditioned and embarrassed. Nobody blinked. Two years later I pulled 405 in front of the whole 6am crew and they lost their minds. This place is just people who want you to get strong.
No mirrors selfies, no influencers filming on the rack I need. Just chalk, iron, and a coach who fixed my squat in one cue I had been getting wrong for ten years.
I am 54 and I deadlift more now than I did at 30. The coaches program around my bad shoulder instead of telling me to take it easy. Best money I spend every month.
Before you visit
Before you walk in
I have never touched a barbell. Is this place going to chew me up?
No. Half our members started with an empty bar and zero clue. Your free first session is a movement screen and a walkthrough — we teach you the squat, hinge, and press, and we will not load weight on you until your setup is solid. Showing up is the only prerequisite.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Never. Memberships are month to month, cancel whenever, no initiation fee and no termination fee. We would rather you stay because the room is worth it than because the paperwork traps you.
What are the hours, and when is it least crowded?
Doors open at 4:45am on weekdays and close at 11pm; weekends run 6am to 8pm. The 5am and 6pm windows are the busiest. Mid-morning and the 8pm hour are wide open — you will have a platform to yourself.
Is there parking, and what should I bring?
Free lot behind the building off Butler Street, plus street parking. Bring flat shoes, a water bottle, and chalk if you are picky about yours — we keep a loaded bowl by every rack otherwise. Lifting belts and straps are available to borrow.
