Our story
Goldsmith & Co. has kept a bench in Boston since 2009, where our jewellers still set stones, size rings, and service movements by hand. We believe fine jewellery should be made, not merely sold — so we work by appointment, one client at a time, from the first sketch to the final polish. Whether you are commissioning an engagement ring, reimagining a piece passed down through your family, or bringing in a watch that has stopped, you work directly with the maker. Ethically sourced stones, honest estimates, and craft you can wear for a lifetime.
Kind words
From our guests
They redrew my grandmother’s ring into something I actually wear every day, and reused every original diamond. It still feels like hers.
I came in with a vague idea and left with a ring my fiancée adores. The whole commission was patient, transparent, and beautifully made.
My grandfather’s automatic had been dead for years. Their watchmaker brought it back to life and it has kept perfect time since.

Good to know
How long do repairs take?
Most ring sizing and simple jewellery repairs are ready within five to seven business days. More involved restoration and full watch servicing typically take two to three weeks. We will give you a firm timeline with your written estimate before any work starts.
What does the custom design process look like?
It begins with a complimentary consultation to talk through your ideas, budget, and any stones you already have. From there we prepare sketches and, for most commissions, a wax or CAD render to approve before we cut metal. Bench time for a finished piece is usually four to six weeks.
Do you offer appraisals?
Yes. Our appraisal appointments produce a detailed, insurance-ready valuation document with photographs and full specifications. Appraisals are booked separately from repairs so we can give each piece the time it deserves.
Can you service any watch?
We handle battery changes, seal and crown replacement, and full mechanical servicing for most quartz and automatic watches. For certain luxury brands that require factory parts we will tell you up front and can advise on the best route. Estimates are always free.
