What you get
Built for the way you work
Hand-finished tailoring
Hems, linings, and details are blind-stitched and pressed by hand, so the finish reads clean from every angle and holds wear after wear.
Fast turnaround & rush option
Standard alterations are ready within the week. Need it sooner? Same- and next-day rush service is available for an added fee.
Bridal & formalwear specialists
Gowns, suits, and tuxedos are our quiet specialty — multi-stage fittings, bustles, and steaming handled with care ahead of the day.
Fit guarantee
If the line is not right when you collect, we re-fit and adjust at no charge. You leave only when the garment sits the way it should.
Our story
Atelier Stitch is a small bench of tailors who believe fit is everything. We work the way the trade always has — chalk, pins, and a patient eye — taking each garment on the form before a single stitch is set. Hems are blind-finished by hand, seams are pressed open, and nothing leaves the studio until it sits clean on the body. Whether you are shortening a favourite pair of trousers or building a suit from the cloth up, the work is precise, the timeline honest, and the finish made to last.
Kind words
From our guests
They took in a jacket that three other tailors said could not be saved. The shoulders sit perfectly now and you cannot see a single stitch.
My gown needed real work — a take-in, a hem, and a bustle — across two fittings. It moved like it was made for me on the day. Worth every minute.
I brought in my late father’s overcoat for restoration and they treated it like it mattered. The repair is invisible and it wears like new.

Good to know
How long do alterations take?
Most standard alterations — hems, take-ins, and simple repairs — are ready within five to seven business days. Tailoring with more construction, like reshaping a jacket or formalwear, may run longer, and we will give you a firm collection date at your fitting.
Do you offer rush service?
Yes. When the schedule allows we can turn most alterations around same- or next-day for an added rush fee. Mention your date when you book so we can confirm availability and reserve the bench time before you come in.
How do fitting appointments work?
Bring the garment and the shoes or undergarments you plan to wear with it. We fit on the form and on the body, pinning and marking the work in front of you so the result is exact. Bridal and bespoke pieces typically need two to three fittings as the garment is built up.
What does the fit guarantee cover?
If a garment we altered does not sit correctly when you collect it, we re-fit and adjust it at no additional charge. The guarantee covers our workmanship on the agreed alterations; new changes to the original brief are quoted separately.
